Do flowers choke out the weeds, or do flocks of doves make war with birds of prey? No they do not. So why do we as followers of Christ practice such things when we are told to be harmless as doves, wise as serpents, to be peacemakers, not pass judgment on others through name calling or condemnation, to forgive others, and pray for and bless those that curse us.
So often we see kind and loving people come to Christ, then forget how to be kind and loving to others. It’s the most backward thing we will probably ever witness among followers of Christ. It is as if the heart and mind decide to find anyway to sabotage a believer and cause them to be in a worse state of being than they were before their conversation to The Way.
So today in an effort to correct this about ourselves…
